This page says what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It describes what the service actually does rather than what a template says it might.
1. What we collect
When you create an account
- Your email address. Used to sign you in, to send one-time sign-in codes, and to tell you about your orders.
- A password hash, if you set a password. We never store the password itself and cannot read it.
- Your IP address and browser user-agent on each sign-in attempt. Used only to block brute-force attacks on your account.
When you sign in with Google
We receive your email address and name from Google. We do not receive your Google password and have no access to anything else in your Google account.
When you place an order
- The channel or group link you submitted, and the public information Telegram returns about it: its name, its member count and its public description.
- The order itself: what you ordered, when, how much of it was delivered, and what you paid.
When you pay
Cryptocurrency transactions are recorded on a public blockchain that we do not control. We store the payment reference and the amount so we can match a payment to your order. We do not receive or store card details.
If you connect your own Telegram account
This is optional and unlocks larger orders. If you choose to do it, we store an encrypted Telegram session for that account so we can deliver orders through it. We do not store your phone number's login code and never ask for your Telegram password. You can remove the connected account from your dashboard at any time; removing it deletes the stored session.
If you submit a channel to the directory
The channel's public information is published on this site, which is the point of submitting it. Your account is recorded as the submitter but is not shown publicly.
2. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your email with advertisers.
- We do not read the content of your channel, and we do not post in it.
- We do not use a connected Telegram account for anything other than delivering orders.
3. Cookies
We set a session cookie so you stay signed in, and a CSRF cookie that protects forms from being submitted by another site. Both are necessary for the site to work and neither is used for advertising.
If analytics is switched on, it sets its own cookies to count visits. You can block cookies in your browser; sign-in will not work if you block ours.
4. How long we keep things
- Account and order records: while your account is open, and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting.
- Sign-in attempt logs: a short rolling window, then discarded.
- One-time sign-in codes: ten minutes, then they expire and are unusable.
- Connected Telegram sessions: until you remove the account, or until you close your Teljoiner account.
5. What you can ask for
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your account and the data attached to it;
- send you your data in a portable form.
Write to Info@Teljoiner.com from the address on the account. We will respond within 30 days.
Some records survive deletion where the law requires us to keep them, such as records of payments received. We will tell you if that applies.
6. Who else sees your data
The service runs on infrastructure we rent, and payments are processed by a cryptocurrency payment provider. Those providers process data on our instructions in order to run the service. We do not pass your data to anyone else except where the law requires it.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as hashes, connected Telegram sessions are encrypted at rest, and repeated failed sign-ins lock an account temporarily.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.
8. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated policy.
10. Contact
